Treating certain types of skin growths (actinic keratoses) or skin cancer (superficial basal cell carcinoma [sBCC]). It may also be used to treat external genital and perianal warts. It also may be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Aldara is an immune response modifier. Exactly how it works is not known.
