If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Buspar while you are pregnant. It is not known if Buspar is found in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking Buspar .

Buspar Pregnancy Warnings
Buspar has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies failed to reveal evidence of fetal damage. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Buspar should only be given in pregnancy when need has been clearly established.

Buspar Breastfeeding Warnings
Buspar and its metabolites are excreted into the milk of rats.

There are no data on the excretion of Buspar into human milk.
